Classroom Policy

American Institute of Professional Standards and Practices “AIPSP” affirms that it is an equal educations opportunity school and will not base course fees, entrance standards or standards for successdul completion of a course on a student’s age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status, or handicap.

Prospective and enrolled students will be provided with the following class information: course title, education objectives of the course, type of instruction, classroom technologies, the number of qualifying continuing education hours and category, fees for the course if applicable, and the contact information of the school providing the certificate of completion.

All Instructor-led continuing education CE class offerings have been approved by the State of Arizona Department of Real Estate. All course offerings meet or exceed the state regulations.

Refund Policy: Many of the Classroom CE courses are provided at no charge, however, where charges may apply, there will be no refunds of tuition paid once registration for the class is complete. Students shall have six (6) months from the date of the “original” registration to take take the course or class. Students understands failure to take the ‘make-up’ course/class within this time will result in loss of their tuition fee. Once registered for a course/class the student may not send another person to sit in their place.

Note: Students further understand that registering for courses/classes provided at locations outside of Chandler Arizona may require the student to travel to an alternate location to ‘make-up’ courses/classes missed.

Equipment / Supplies: All course materials are provided as part of the tuition unless specified otherwise in the course description. Some classes require the use of a hand-held calculator, or other pre-requisites which students, by registering for a class, agree to provide and bring to the course/class. AIPSP is not responsible should a student arrive at a course/class without the requested materials/tools.

AIPSP is expanding and anticipates having an online bookstore available on the website for supplemental materials by August 2012.

Live-classroom Attendance: Courses provided under the category or indicating “classroom CE” require live attendance by the student. All class rules are governed by the State of Arizona Department of Real Estate “ADRE” and applicable governance. the following guidelines are made available to ensure your classroom experience, promote a learning-based environment and foster the course/class learning objectives:
1. Arrival: Students are reminded to arrive at least 15-30 minutes early to allow for last minute registration, payment and sign-requirements as course/class instruction starts at the time indicated.
2. Breaks: Students will be provided a break approximately each hour to allow time for returning calls, refreshments or bathroom needs. Students, at the discretion of the instructor/moderator, may not receive credit for attending a course/class should the student leave the room at a time otherwise designated as a break, or in the event the student does not return promptly when the break ends.<.br>
3. Technology: Students may utilize the latest technology to take notes during class, however, the student must be engaged and participating in the course/class. If in the instructors, or other students, interpretation the student is using technology for other than note taking the instructor may, at the sole discretion of the instructor, demand the student powers off the device. Should the instructor meet with adversity following the request, or should the student not comply, the student will not be provided with credit for the course/class.

Certificates of Completion: Students will be provided with a course certificate following completion of a class. AIPSP may elect to provide such certificate to each student at the end of the class or AIPSP may elect to electronically email the certificate.

Continuing Education Reporting: AIPSP shall not be responsible for notifying any jurisdiction of the students completion of any course. Student shall be responsible for notifying the appropriate jurisdiction of the student’s continuing education fulfillment.

Please remember, we do not teach classes at the Administrative Office location, refer to the class information for location.
